Wide receiver Marquise Brown is awesome, but the Ravens need more behind him. The Ravens prefer using tight ends with quarterback Lamar Jackson, but they also desperately need an upgrade at receiver across from Brown.

Baylor’s Denzel Mims has gotten a lot of late hype for the first round of the NFL Draft and should sneak into the first round as another home-run threat.

Mims is an example of a speedy guy who needs a bit of development at the pro level. He didn’t run a versatile route tree at Baylor, but his physical skills are evident and, at worst, he would be a home-run threat on a team that already has a home-run threat for defenses to worry about.

There’s a lot to love with the skills Mims does possess, though. He has the hands, speed, athleticism and toughness to succeed at the NFL. He might start slow, but once he’s coached up, he has a really high ceiling for the NFL.
