Cornerback. Crimson Tide . Trevon Diggs. 26. player. 829.

The Raiders have to come out of the draft with a new corner, and here in this mock, they get both a corner and more picks to go with it.

Alabama’s Trevon Diggs has been a consistent first rounder on NFL Draft boards and should be picked around here.

Diggs is most impressive in zone coverage but can play man coverage if need be. He’s very speedy and his past as a wide receiver has given him some good hands.

Diggs does have some negatives to him. He has been a liability in run support at times for Alabama and his tackling does suffer a bit, so teams need to be willing to work with him.

The Raiders aren’t likely to compete for the playoffs in 2020, so they can afford to be patient with Diggs and build him up to be their cornerback for the future.
