The Jaguars need to address both linebacker and safety at the draft. Kenneth Murray and Patrick Queen at linebacker both make sense here, but Alabama safety Xavier McKinney is the better prospect and the Jaguars love to draft talent that falls to them.

McKinney can play either safety position and is a heat-seeking missile on the field. He would start from Week 1 and could be the latest in a long line of strong defensive players from Alabama in the NFL.

McKinney really would be a steal here at No. 20 in the NFL Draft. He’s a hard hitter who can make plays (six sacks and five interceptions in college) and his versatility is valuable in today’s professional league.

He’s a strong tackler, he’s quick and doesn’t shy away from making contact. He’s best in a zone system but can play man coverage, too.
