This is an absolute steal for the Atlanta Falcons.

Some could see Clemson linebacker Isaiah Simmons as a top-five pick in the NFL Draft, and it would be hard to argue. And there’s a good chance he’ll wind up being selected no later than No. 10, too.

Yet the NFL Draft doesn’t always pan out the way many think, and players like Simmons regularly fall when everyone else thinks they’ll be a bona fide top-10 selection.

Either way, the Falcons couldn’t be happier if Simmons was available, and their representatives would literally run to the podium if he was still around at No. 16.

Atlanta needs help both at linebacker and within their secondary, and the good thing is Simmons can play a multitude of defensive spots, excelling at them wherever he is. Not just a coverage linebacker, Simmons can double as a strong safety with some excellent run-stopping skills.

If the Falcons are looking to completely overhaul their defense this season, grabbing a player like Simmons to build around would be one of the best ways to go about doing it.
