No. 1: Binge Watch Your Favorite 49ers Games

One of the ways the NFL is helping people out during these challenging times is by allowing fans to access NFL Game Pass for free between now and July 31. Game archives go back to 2009, and any Niners fan can tell you there are more than a few games to enjoy rewatching from that season through last year.

But what might be even better would be going back and watching games you might not have been able to see live.

Including San Francisco’s greatest game ever: the 1982 NFC Championship game against the Dallas Cowboys.

You know, this one:

OK, so every 49ers fan knows this is the game featuring “The Catch” by the late great, Dwight Clark. But what you might not know is the Niners turned the ball over six times in this back-and-forth contest.

And Clark’s highlight-reel catch surely wasn’t the last nail-biting moment, either. In fact, there’s a game-saving tackle made by San Francisco’s defensive back, Eric Wright, after the team’s most-famous go-ahead touchdown.

Don’t remember that? It’s OK. All you need to do is go back and watch the game as if you’ve never seen it before. If you want to get even more creative, treat it like it’s a playoff game and you’re hosting your own family get-together with snacks, beverages and all your favorite 49ers gear.

But the biggest thing everyone should do while he or she is passing time with favorite Niners-related content is to stay safe.

Please do.
