No. 4: J.K. Dobbins, Ohio State Buckeyes

A very safe selection to be a productive running back in the NFL, J.K. Dobbins may be the perfect addition as a primary back in a rotation to allow the other backs in the committee to stay fresh and shine.

Dobbins is a tough runner, capable of getting extra yards by going through tacklers and making them struggle to bring him down. He’s a hardy sort of player and the perfect player to headline a committee approach to running back.

Dobbins isn’t just a physical player, though. He’s also agile, with a wicked cut move, and is fast enough to outrun defenders. He’s a very versatile back and has the ability to be a very good runner in the NFL.

Dobbins is probably a second-round selection and will warrant a trade to pick, but he definitely can catch the eye of the 49ers as someone to add to the roster.
