No. 3: TCU WR Jalen Reagor

NFL Comparison: Marquise Brown, BAL Ravens

TCU wide receiver Jalen Reagor was a legitimate deep threat throughout his three-year collegiate career. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound pass catcher made a living hauling in long touchdown throws.

Reagor tallied 22 receiving touchdowns in his career with the Horned Frogs and probably would have gotten more if it weren’t for sub-par quarterback play throughout his tenure. He also ran for two and took two punts to the house, so he definitely has a nose for the end zone.

He could be a great fit with the Niners because a deep threat was the biggest thing missing from head coach Kyle Shanahan’s arsenal last season. The 49ers have already expressed some interest in Reagor, meeting with him on Wednesday at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.

A quick look at the tape will reveal Reagor is almost always looking to go deep in TCU’s scheme. He somehow consistently gets separation from the opposing defensive backs despite not having Olympic speed. He reminds me a lot of Baltimore Ravens receiver Marquise Brown who himself is a bit undersized, not blazing fast, but finds a way to get open down the field regardless.

A duo of Deebo Samuel and Jalen Reagor could be a lethal combo for years to come.
