No. 3: Kyle Dugger, Lenoir-Rhyne Bears

One of the most exciting Division II players in recent memory, Kyle Dugger is a physical marvel to behold. If we were just going by the eyeball test, he would be picked on Thursday night with no hesitation.

Looking deeper, there are some holes in his game and some roughness about the edges of his play that need to be worked on which will see him picked later.

That being said, Dugger is probably the biggest boom-or-bust safety in this class.

Dugger is such an amazing specimen. He looks the part at 6-foot-1 and 217 pounds, and it’s all muscle. He’s plays his football with reckless abandon, and his athleticism is right up there with the best in the draft class.

His burst, acceleration, speed and drive are all beyond reproach. He’s known for his high work ethic and passion for the game, and the resulting competitiveness makes him an exciting football player to watch.

He dominated Division II football this season, and backed it up this season in the Senior Bowl by showing he belonged with the big-school prospects. Dugger was the only Division II prospect invited this year.

Dugger has met with all 32 NFL teams. He has fans, and he has a lot of them too. If he continues to impress, it isn’t out of the question he could be picked in the top 50 and maybe even the top 32.

If he keeps this momentum up, it’s not out of the question that Dugger could slip into Thursday night.
