No. 5: The first touchdown will be scored by Kendrick Bourne

We all want the 49ers to win, but the touchdowns need to come from somewhere. Often, we wonder who will kick it off.

He’s sometimes left behind in the shuffle when we talk about the 49ers offensive weapons, but look no further than wide receiver Kendrick Bourne to get the ball rolling.

A preferred target in the endzone for quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, Bourne has caught six touchdowns this season. One of those was in the Divisional round against the Vikings, the only passing touchdown for the 49ers all playoffs.

Bourne is something of a touchdown specialist. Of his 34 catches (including playoffs), six have been for scores.

Remember, even if the 49ers run over the Chiefs as per my first prediction, doesn’t stop Bourne from popping up.

He’s sometimes forgotten, but Bourne will make sure people remember his name with the first touchdown of the game.
