No. 1: The 49ers will run for over 200 yards against the Chiefs

The San Francisco 49ers run the football. That is the narrative and when the blocking holds up, it’s an accurate one.

We saw how accurate it was in the NFC Championship, when Raheem Mostert took no prisoners in a running display that even the likes of running backs Roger Craig and Frank Gore could never produce in the playoffs.

29 carries, 220 yards and four touchdowns can’t be wrong. Neither can the Chiefs poor rushing defense.

Don’t let them stopping Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry fool you, it won’t help their rushing defense here. The Titans and 49ers run completely different rushing schemes.

The 49ers have taken on better rushing defenses with their mix of zone blocking and exotic motions. They’ll do the same to the Chiefs and trample them.

I predict another rushing masterclass for the 49ers. Somewhere over the 200 yard mark to take advantage of their poor defense and to also limit the time Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is on the field.
