No. 1: Tight End George Kittle

2017 NFL Draft

Round 5, Pick No. 146

The man… The myth… The people’s tight end!

As fun and great as George Kittle is off the field, he is even better on it. He is regarded as a top-three tight end in the NFL, and he is yet to enter his prime age for the position at just 26 years old.

His stats the last two seasons are eye-popping, with the most impressive being the 1,377 receiving yards he piled up in 2018. This broke the single-season record for most receiving yards by a tight end ever.

Kittle is also arguably the best blocking tight end in the league. He was PFF’s highest-rated tight end by a wide four-point margin, coming in with a rating of 94 late in the year.

Considering he was a fifth-round pick, Kittle is not only the 49ers’ best pick of the decade, he also offers the best value.
