San Francisco 49ers: Breaking down the 20 biggest moments of the decade
No. 5: The Pick at the Stick
NaVorro Bowman got on the list for a negative moment, it feels only right that I can leave him here for such a positive moment.
He made Candlestick Park rock for one last time.
Desperately trying to defend a 27-24 lead against the Atlanta Falcons late in 2013, Bowman intercepted a tipped pass and returned it 90 yards for a touchdown to make it 34-24, adding a fitting finale for the old stadium.
Candlestick Park had a lot of history in it, but few stadiums have gone out on such a high as this final touchdown ever scored at the old home.
