No. 4: Julio Jones vs. 49ers cornerbacks

Despite being down their leader in Richard Sherman, the 49ers cornerbacks have little time to dwell on that as they have to focus on shutting down one of the top wide receivers in the league in Julio Jones.

For Ahkello Witherspoon and Emmanuel Moseley (depending on which side Jones lines up on), they’ll have their hands full in trying to stop Jones having an impact.

Their hands full, perhaps, but maybe not as difficult as it seems. Despite being solid overall, Jones has not found the end zone since Week 3 or had a 100-plus yard game since Week 8.

That’s no reason to slack off, however. Jones can still beat you a variety of different ways in matchups.

Witherspoon and Moseley have to be on top of their game and shut down the Falcons top weapon, and the defense will have a much easier time of it if they do.
