Winner: Wide Receiver Emmanuel Sanders

Marcell Harris’ mistakes were alleviated, thanks to some clutch playmaking efforts from the 49ers offense.

Jimmy Garoppolo and George Kittle were both clutch, but one of the stars early in the game was veteran wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, who was responsible for seven catches for 157 yards and a receiving touchdown.

But that wasn’t his only touchdown.

Kyle Shanahan called for a handful of trick plays during the game, and the one involving Sanders passing for a 35-yard touchdown to a wide-open running back, Raheem Mostert, was particularly incredible:

Sanders later told reporters how much he practiced the play after joining the 49ers before the NFL trade deadline. And while he admitted some mistakes with it in practice, this execution amid the pressure was all but perfect.

Speaking of that trade, it’s pretty safe to assume the Niners won that deal, right? Sanders has been a huge factor down the stretch.
