No. 2: Avoiding the Seattle Seahawks

While the 49ers will get their chance for a revenge win against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 17, the team should be hoping they don’t play their divisional rivals in the postseason.

This has nothing to do with how hard the game would be, the Niners will be getting tested no matter who they play, but more how the Seahawks have been winning.

What do I mean by that? Well the Seahawks have a 10-2 record. And of those 10 wins, a staggering nine of them of have been by only one score.

In other words, the Seahawks are the kings of winning in the clutch.

In a playoff game, you do not want to play the team that has a habit of pulling wins out of nowhere. It’s the polar opposite of the NFC East argument.

It may be the 49ers have no choice and will have to face the Seahawks in yet another chapter of the teams facing off in playoffs, but the best case scenario is someone can come along and knock off the Seahawks before then.
