Winner: Running Back Raheem Mostert

If someone was able to go ahead of time prior to Week 13’s contest and say the 49ers would net 174 yards of rushing offense against the Ravens, it would be believable.

If that same person said running back Raheem Mostert would be the main reason why, it would be much less believable.

Mostert was a monster in the game, using his elusive speed on outside runs to gash the Ravens defense for an average of 7.7 yards per carry, totaling 146 yards on 19 carries in the process. And his 40-yard touchdown run was a thing of beauty:

Mostert already set a career high with 393 rush yards on the season, and his impressive performance in Baltimore should help him earn more trust from head coach Kyle Shanahan.

He’s likely going to be the No. 2 option behind fellow running back Matt Breida when the latter returns from an ankle injury.
