49ers Week 11 Injury Report
The Niners suffered some notable injuries during their Week 10 loss to the Seahawks, notably losing reserve defensive end Ronald Blair to a season-ending ACL injury, as well as Emmanuel Sanders suffering a rib injury.
Sanders is still considered day to day, yet running back Matt Breida has already been ruled out with an ankle sprain. Left tackle Joe Staley suffered a broken finger in Week 10 and will miss a couple of weeks, too. George Kittle (knee/ankle) remains doubtful.
Here’s the rest of San Francisco’s Week 11 injury report:
- LB Azeez Al-Shaair (concussion)
- RB Matt Breida (ankle)
- TE Garrett Celek (back)
- EDGE Dee Ford (quad)
- K Robbie Gould (quad)
- NT D.J. Jones (groin)
- TE George Kittle (knee/ankle)
- RB Raheem Mostert (knee)
- WR Dante Pettis (back)
- WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs)
- T Joe Staley (finger)
- TE Levine Toilolo (groin)
- CB Ahkello Witherspoon (foot)
Gould’s injury meant the 49ers had to rely on rookie kicker Chase McLaughlin in Week 10. And while his fourth-quarter field goal tied things up late against the Seahawks, his overtime miss ultimately cost the Niners a chance to stay undefeated.
If there’s good news, however, Witherspoon looks to be on track to return after suffering a foot sprain earlier this season.
