The Texans stay put in our NFL power rankings this week after their bye, and they have to be thrilled the No. 2 team in the AFC South, the Colts, lost a stunner at home against the Dolphins.

That keeps Houston in first place heading into Week 11, but the hold on the division is anything but guaranteed.

The Texans come off their bye week with a road contest against the red-hot Ravens, then host the Colts and Patriots in back-to-back weeks.

And in Weeks 15 and 17, Houston gets to play its two divisional games against the Titans, who are still nipping at the Texans and Colts’ heels within the AFC South.

A loss in any one of those aforementioned contests could be disastrous for Houston’s precarious hold.
