L, 28-24 vs. Vikings

The Eagles have to be thrilled at the Cowboys’ Sunday Night Football loss to the Vikings, which ties the two teams in NFC East records, although Dallas still has the edge in the tiebreaker from a previous win over Philadelphia in Week 7.

The Cowboys are still in charge of what’s turning out to be a very weak division, of course. And that’s fine. But given how Dallas is just a mere game over the .500 mark now, losing the hold on the NFC East to a team like Philly would all but ensure quarterback Dak Prescott and Co. miss the playoffs.

A Week 16 visit to the Eagles could end up determining the division winner, although the Cowboys will have to figure out a way to navigate their next three games against the Lions, Patriots and Bills over the next three weeks.

None of those games will be easy.
