The Chiefs watched their Super Bowl window open last year, thanks largely to the MVP-caliber play from quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his offense.

Yet Kansas City’s defense remains a major liability. True, the Chiefs spent the offseason trying to revamp this unit, which included trading away Pro Bowl EDGE Dee Ford to the 49ers in exchange for a second-round NFL Draft pick in 2020.

Still, the Chiefs need plenty of help on this side of the ball.

Linebacker Anthony Hitchens has been a good addition. But adding some help with Alabama linebacker Dylan Moses would provide even more.

With a deep cornerback class, particularly in the second round, look for Kansas City to make some moves in the secondary with its following picks.
