The Dolphins are now in a great position to merely grab the best player available after getting their guy, Justin Herbert, to man the quarterbacking spot.

With the pick acquired in the trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers for safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, the Dolphins get a quality defender to replace him in that same spot, LSU defensive back Grant Delpit.

Delpit is good enough to wind up going in the top 10 of the NFL Draft. Him falling to Miami’s second pick in Round 1 would be a wonderful thing for a defense looking to completely rebuild and rebrand.

Knowing the quality of defensive backs LSU promotes, going after Delpit would be an excellent move with tremendous value.
