The Cardinals are proving to be a feisty team in 2019, made apparent by coming close in their 28-25 loss to the red-hot 49ers in Week 9.

Quarterback Kyler Murray, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, certainly appears to be the real deal, while there are some budding weapons at the skill positions on offense. Sure, Arizona could stand for some offensive line help, and there are question marks within the secondary, too.

But the Cardinals are also realizing the importance of having two quality pass-rushers. They have one in Chandler Jones, but grabbing a player like Iowa EDGE A.J. Epenesa would provide that solid one-two punch so many teams are coveting on the defensive side of the ball.

And with the NFC West brewing up to be one of the toughest divisions in football in coming seasons, boasting a stout defense is quickly becoming a necessity.
