49ers vs. Redskins: Full Week 7 preview, breakdown for San Francisco

49ers Week 7 Injury Report
San Francisco’s victory over the Rams in Week 6 proved Kyle Shanahan and Co. could get by against a good team, despite a slew of critical injuries.
The Niners will still be without its two starting tackles, Joe Staley (leg) and Mike McGlinchey (knee) for this contest. Staley is on track to return later this month, but these two players’ absences means Justin Skule and Daniel Brunskill will likely get the start in Staley and McGlinchey’s respective steads.
Here’s the rest of the 49ers injury report ahead of Week 7:
- EDGE Dee Ford (knee/quad): limited, questionable
- DT D.J. Jones (hamstring): DNP, out
- FB Kyle Juszczyk (knee): DNP, out
- TE George Kittle (groin): limited, questionable
- T Mike McGlinchey (knee): DNP, out
- RB Raheem Mostert (knee): DNP, questionable
- WR Deebo Samuel (groin): DNP, out
- T Joe Staley (fibula): DNP, out
- CB K’Waun Williams (hand): limited, probable
- CB Ahkello Witherspoon (foot): DNP, out
Ford has been dealing with his knee injury all season, so that’s expected. And Kittle appears ready to go after dealing with his groin injury last week, too.
Kyle Shanahan told reporters Mostert was day-to-day, and his offense still managed to get by without Juszczyk’s abilities as a lead blocker.
Samuel, who injured himself late in Los Angeles, could be replaced on game day by the veteran, Jordan Matthews.
