The New Orleans Saints actually find themselves in need of a number of different positions heading into 2020 NFL Draft season.

Towards the top of the list is quarterback. The future Hall of Famer, Drew Brees, is entering his twilight years, too. Him being out a number of weeks with a hand injury has allowed the Saints to see whether or not Brees’ backup, Teddy Bridgewater, can be the crucial transition piece when the former decides to retire.

So far, so good. But it’s still premature to say Bridgewater is the long-term answer.

Wide receiver is another position in need of upgrades, especially if New Orleans wants to find someone to pair with Michael Thomas.

All that said, though, the Saints need a lot of help at the second level of the defense. Particularly at linebacker, where a player like the upswinging Troy Dye out of Oregon would be a wonderful find.
