Like the Dolphins, the Washington Redskins are a complete mess on both sides of the ball.

Sure, rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins looked terrible in his NFL debut. But he’s the future under center in Washington, for better or worse. And while the Redskins would be smart to support him with both protection up front, along with weapons on the ground and through the air, beefing up an atrocious defense wouldn’t be the worst of ideas.

Especially if you subscribe to the idea Ohio State EDGE Chase Young is the No. 2 overall prospect in this year’s NFL Draft.

Ohio State has produced some solid pass-rushers as of late, and the 49ers’ Nick Bosa is the latest example.

Young might not be as pro ready, but his abilities are impressive nonetheless.

Considering the Redskins defense has just five sacks on the year through four weeks — tied for second worst in the league — and has the second worst scoring defense overall, finding a key impact player on this side of the ball would go a long way.
