Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott is finally starting to put together the defense he envisioned when he took over duties back in 2017.

Over the first four weeks, Buffalo’s defense ranks fifth in scoring and second in all-purpose yards allowed. And while there’s not a ton of competition in the AFC East, holding the New England Patriots to a mere 16 points in a losing effort in Week 4 says something.

But while the Bills defense has been impressive over the first quarter of the season, finding some more help in the pass-rush department would be smart.

Through four weeks, Buffalo has mustered just seven sacks, which is in the bottom tier of the league.

Thankfully, the 2020 NFL Draft has a good deal of edge rushers in this class, and Alabama’s Terrell Lewis could provide that outside thump to help turn the Bills defense into a truly prolific force for years to come.
