L, 13-12 @ Texans

Quarterback Gardner Minshew could eventually prompt something of a controversy for the Jacksonville Jaguars, once Nick Foles returns from his shoulder injury.

The problem, though, is neither Minshew nor Foles have a decent array of pass-catching weapons. So, if running back Leonard Fournette isn’t shouldering the load well enough on game days, one can expect Jacksonville’s offense to struggle.

This was the case in Week 2, as Minshew couldn’t get much of anything going on the road against the Houston Texans.

Jacksonville managed just two trips into the red zone on Sunday. And while the Texans were little better, they at least had the benefit of not turning the ball over, while the Jaguars lost a key fumble.

Those mistakes are killers on the road, and the 0-2 Jaguars find themselves falling in our NFL power rankings as a result.

Cornerback Jalen Ramsey isn’t happy about it, either, and wants out.
