NFL power rankings: 49ers surge in Week 3, while Saints fall

There almost should be a lower placement than No. 32 on our NFL power rankings for the Dolphins, who surrendered 43 more points to the visiting New England Patriots on Sunday.

Combined with their Week 1 lopsided loss to the Baltimore Ravens, the Dolphins have now given up a whopping 102 points over just two weeks this season.

There’s a real chance Miami goes 0-16 this season, which makes it understandable why a few of its top players, such as defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick, want to be traded.

Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was terrible, tossing three interceptions and getting sacked four times. It’s gotten so bad, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports the Dolphins are considering putting second-year quarterback Josh Rosen in as the starter indefinitely.

Rosen wasn’t better, completing just seven of his 18 pass attempts with an interception, too.

At this point, Dolphins fans probably just want to hear the words, “With the first pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select…”
