3 impressive performances from 49ers win vs. Bengals

No. 1: 49ers Defensive Line

The 49ers defensive line put consistent pressure on Andy Dalton all game. They were able to get four sacks on six pressures. Defensive lineman Solomon Thomas, Arik Armstead, Ronald Blair and Deforest Buckner each accounted for one sack apiece.

The line also completely shut down the running game. The team had an impressive total of nine tackles for loss. Running backs Joe Mixon and Giovani Bernard had no holes to run through all game long.

The two backs were held to a combined 23 rushing yards.

The 49ers defense set the tone for the game for the second week in a row. They have been able to dominate the line of scrimmage and pressure opposing quarterbacks.

The Bengals have some injuries on their offensive line, but Niners fans have to love what they have seen from this unit so far. If they can continue to play at the level we have seen early on, then they have a great chance to be considered one of the top defensive line units in the entire league.
