Question 5. For the NFL who will be the MVP, Offensive/Defensive Rookie of the Year, Super Bowl pick, Most improved team, Team with the No. 1 pick?

Aaron Tan

The NFL MVP just might be Patrick Mahomes, again. Mahomes never ceases to amaze me with his incredible skills, and the Chiefs now have Mecole Hardman, a rookie with Tyreek Hill-like abilities. If Mahomes now has two Tyreek Hills to throw to, that is only going to push his stats up even more — and carry his team to a Super Bowl.

The offensive rookie of the year should be Kyler Murray. He was absolutely electric in college at Oklahoma and I don’t see that really changing in the NFL. The only concern is the Arizona Cardinals’ su-bpar offensive line, which did not help Murray at all in the preseason. However, if Murray and new head coach Kliff Kingsbury turn out to become a perfect pairing, which I believe they will, then Murray should have no problems winning Offensive Rookie of the Year.

The defensive rookie of the year should be Nick Bosa, again, provided he remains healthy. The 49ers’ defensive line is going to be insane this year, which will make things a lot easier for Bosa, as he will have his one-on-one matchups to enjoy throughout the course of the season.

My Super Bowl pick is the Chiefs. Again, I believe the Chiefs offense will set records this year and should be enough to carry the defense over every other team.

The most improved team should be the New York Jets. Sam Darnold impressed in the last part of his rookie season, and all of the signs have pointed to him taking that next big step in his sophomore year. The Jets also added a lot of weapons on both offense and defense, which should help them reach the playoffs, which would be a huge improvement over their 2018 4-12 season.

Finally, the team with the No. 1 overall pick should be the Miami Dolphins. They are just tanking at every level, and even though I am a fan of both Ryan Fitzpatrick and Josh Rosen, they will not be enough to get Miami out of being the worst team in the league. They can enjoy Tua Tagovailoa next year with the No. 1 overall pick, and Rosen might unfortunately be traded to another team again.

MVP – Drew Brees, DROY — Devin White, OROY — I honestly have no clue. If I had to pick any player, I’d choose Kyler Murray. Super Bowl Winner — 49ers. But really, Chiefs. Team with first overall pick: Dolphins. Most improved — 49ers.

Chris Wilson

Brees for MVP, Kyler Murray wins Offensive ROY and Bosa takes DROY. The Saints beat the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, and the Dolphins pick first after going 3-13.

San Francisco 49ers

James Jones

NFL MVP: Matt Ryan

Offensive Rookie of the Year: Josh Jacobs

Defensive Rookie of the Year: Nick Bosa

Super Bowl pick: Atlanta Falcons

Most improved team: New York Jets

Team with the No. 1 pick: Miami Dolphins

Jeremy Wohlfart

MVP: Patrick Mahomes is the best offensive player in the league, it has to be him right now.

Offensive Rookie of the Year: I love David Montgomery and think he’s going to have a huge part in the offense for Chicago this year.

Defensive Rookie of the Year: I’d love it to be Bosa, but I think Devin Bush is going to have a Darius Leonard-like season with the Steelers.

Super Bowl pick: I think the Chiefs will make that breakthrough this year.

Most improved: The Jets have really got a lot of things going well with their roster, and Sam Darnold looks like a franchise quarterback. They won’t topple the Patriots this year but they should benefit from having the Bills (who aren’t awful but I don’t think they’re as good) and the lowly Dolphins who I may as well spoil are my choice for the team that’ll have the No. 1 pick.

Joshua Altorfer

I have a feeling Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is going to go off this season and take home the NFL MVP award.

I got Bears running back David Montgomery winning the offensive rookie of the year.

Nick Bosa has a chance to get defensive rookie of the year, I just worry about him staying healthy.

Tough to bet against the Patriots returning as Super Bowl champs, but I’ll go with the Eagles. I think they have one of the most complete rosters in the NFL.

The Niners will be the most improved team!

The Dolphins will get the No. 1 pick in the draft next year.

Peter Panacy

Aaron Rodgers will be the league MVP. Offensive Rookie of the Year will go to wide receiver N’Keal Harry. Defensive Rookie of the Year goes to Nick Bosa. For the Super Bowl, let’s go with the New Orleans Saints. Most improved? 49ers (duh).

And the No. 1 pick goes to the Miami Dolphins. I’d guess they want it, too.

Robert Morrison

MVP: Pat Mahomes
OPotY: Alvin Kamara
DPotY: DeForest Buckner (homering at its finest!)
Most improved team: 49ers
No. 1 pick: Miami

Note: The question was misread as Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year, not rookie.

Timmy Gibson

MVP: Deshaun Watson. Watson has already proven he is one of the league’s top QBs. Now, he is surrounded by the best group of receivers he’s ever had, and the Texans have finally invested in some O-linemen to protect him. With these in place, he makes the leap, throws for somewhere near 50 touchdowns, and wins NFL MVP.

Offensive Rookie of the Year: David Montgomery, Chicago Bears. Montgomery was the most evasive back in NCAA football last year. Now, in Matt Nagy’s offense, he will excell, and win the award most have already penciled in Kyler Murray for.

Defensive Rookie of the Year: Nick Bosa. I’m going with the chalk on this one, and taking the highest defensive draft pick. As long as Bosa’s healthy, he should have every opportunity to win the award.

Super Bowl Winner: New Orleans Saints. I’ve been saying this for months, the Saints are going to bully the rest of the NFL this year. Remember when they were absolutely pummeling people last year? That was before they had a reason the be pissed off, the NFC Championship Game pass interference no call. Now, the Saints come in and dominate, and Drew Brees retires and walks into the sunset.

Next. Top 4 position groups 49ers will face in 2019. dark

Most improved team: San Francisco 49ers. I’ve gotta go with my heart on this one. The Niners are improved from top to bottom from last year’s team, and should be ready to at least contend for a playoff berth.

Team with the No. 1 pick: Cincinnati Bengals. Despite the Dolphins’ best efforts, I think the Bengals will be the worst team in the league this year.
