There are some serious questions about quarterbacking depth behind Carson Wentz, and the Philadelphia Eagles won’t be able to turn to Nick Foles any longer.

If Wentz can finally stay healthy — something he hasn’t been able to do the last two seasons — there’s little reason to assume Philly won’t have a legit shot to make another deep playoff run. After all, the roster remains one of the deepest outside of the quarterback situation.

Defensive tackle Fletcher Cox (foot) needs to get back healthy soon. Although it’s looking like he’ll be ready to go before too long.

The Eagles can benefit early in 2019, hoping the Cowboys wind up going without Ezekiel Elliott for a while. After all, Dallas is easily the only team capable of challenging Philadelphia for the division crown in the NFC East.

Right now, it’s looking like a safe bet to pick the Eagles. Especially if they can get off to an early lead and stay healthy under center in the process.
