Fantasy football: The ideal mock draft for the 2019 NFL season
By Chris Wilson

Round 15: K Giorgio Tavecchio, Atlanta Falcons
In the final round of our perfect fantasy football mock draft, we’ll bite the bullet and select a kicker instead of picking one up off the waiver wire prior to the start of the season.
Our kicker of choice is one who would have likely been available on the waiver wire: Atlanta Falcons kicker Giorgio Tavecchio.
The 29-year-old Italian-born kicker nicknamed “Italian Ice” replaced Atlanta’s all-time leading scorer Matt Bryant for three games last season while Bryant dealt with a hamstring injury. Tavecchio converted all five field-goal attempts and each of his eight extra-point tries during Bryant’s absence.
When the 43-year old Bryant retired over the offseason, the Falcons’ full-time kicking job was Tavecchio’s for the taking.
We’re targeting the Falcon’s kicker more than Tavecchio himself. Atlanta had a top-10 offense in 2018, and they have the advantage of playing 13 games indoors in 2019. Given his recent success and uncontested status as the team’s starting kicker, “Italian Ice” is our final pick of the draft.
