No. 1: The defensive line looks exciting for 2019

When one looks at the 49ers defensive line, there’s a lot of talent to look at.

The key trio will be the pass-rushing trio of Nick Bosa, DeForest Buckner and Dee Ford. But there’s also other talents: Solomon Thomas, who can be moved inside, Arik Armstead coming off a stronger season than some may realize and D.J. Jones who has extreme upside as a run-stuffing nose tackle.

With all this talent, it’s a promising sign the defensive line looks switched on early.

The defensive line shined on Saturday, and carried that over on Sunday with some more dominant performances.

It’ll be exciting to see the defensive line with pads on in camp, and exciting to see how they do in the preseason games.

The 49ers invested a significant amount of picks and money into the defensive line, and it’s looking like the investment will pay off if the defensive line can continue this start to 2019.
