No. 2: Defensive End Nick Bosa

The No. 2 pick in the draft has lofty expectations set on him. Just like Jimmy Garoppolo is seen by fans as the savior of the 49ers offense, EDGE Nick Bosa is similarly viewed as the key to unleashing the full potential of the defensive unit.

And so far, he’s been doing just that.

Bosa has been making the legendary fan-favorite offensive tackle Joe Staley look sub par in practice. He has beat Staley on many reps, including one which concluded in a would-be strip sack on Garoppolo.

Barring injury, 49ers fans should get ready to see the Ohio State product do the same to other quarterbacks in the league.
