Donte Moncrief. 3. player. 55. . Wide Receiver. Pittsburgh Steelers

JuJu Smith-Schuster is the unquestioned No. 1 receiving target for the Steelers, assuming that role over Antonio Brown in 2018.

That said, both Schuster and Brown managed well over 1,200 receiving yards apiece, and there’s no reason to assume quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s ball distribution in 2019 will fall relatively evenly between Smith-Schuster and Brown’s replacement, wide receiver Donte Moncrief.

Moncrief hasn’t been the same promising receiver he was back with the Indianapolis Colts in 2015. Yet one could argue the 6-foot-2 target’s numbers were hindered by the elongated shoulder injury to Colts quarterback Andrew Luck. And Moncrief’s struggles with the Jacksonville Jaguars could be blamed on the inept quarterbacking of Blake Bortles.

Finally, Moncrief gets a good and healthy quarterback amid an already-dynamic offense in Pittsburgh. And while Roethlisberger might not be the elite-tier QB he once was, one should expect the Steelers offense to be plenty good enough.

Especially to consider Moncrief a solid late-round fantasy football option.

For owners looking to add Moncrief late in the draft, Fantasy Football Calculator has his ADP at 11.07.

That would be a steal, especially if he’s able to come close to replicating Brown’s numbers as a No. 2 option behind Smith-Schuster.
