Georgia. Jake Fromm. 6. player. 28. . Quarterback

Niner Noise recently broke down five quarterbacks who are on the proverbial “hot seat” entering 2019, and one of those is the Oakland Raiders’ Derek Carr.

Carr hasn’t been the same since his Pro Bowl 2016 campaign, in which he suffered a broken leg right at the end of the year. Granted, Oakland hasn’t done him too many favors the past few seasons, even though he made the Pro Bowl again in 2017.

2019 could be different, of course, especially with the Raiders adding perennial All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown. But if that chemistry doesn’t pan out, Carr will likely be the one facing an uncertain future. Not Brown.

Plus, head coach Jon Gruden and Co. could easily be looking at a new “face of the franchise” once they move to Las Vegas.

With an early run on quarterbacks, Georgia’s Jake Fromm ends up being the No. 6 overall pick.
