2020 NFL Draft: Way-too-soon mock breakdown for all 32 teams

Their shuddering through the playoffs and overwhelmingly disastrous performance in the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots showcased just how much Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay’s offense relies on a prolific ground attack.
When running back Todd Gurley was healthy, things worked well for McVay and his quarterback, Jared Goff. When Gurley was banged up, things started to go south. And No. 2 tailback C.J. Anderson isn’t going to be around to help matters any longer.
Granted, L.A. bought aboard rookie running back former Memphis runner Darrell Henderson, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see him take over for Gurley at some point down the road.
But if Gurley’s knee winds up being worse than many think, it likely means the Rams will have to look again for a quality running back.
Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor would be a player to watch here, as he has tremendous prowess as a true No. 1-caliber threat.
