Alabama. Xavier McKinney. 27. player. 54. . Safety

The Philadelphia Eagles enter the 2019 season without too many needs. They hope to have found veteran left tackle Jason Peters’ replacement already by grabbing Washington State’s Andre Dillard in the 2019 NFL Draft, and getting Stanford wide receiver J.J. Arcega-Whiteside provides a big-bodied red-zone target.

That said, Philly could add some more depth to its secondary this season, both at cornerback and safety.

There isn’t quite the value at cornerback at No. 27 overall, but Alabama safety Xavier McKinney is a good pickup here.

McKinney enjoyed an impact season last year with three sacks and two interceptions, and that kind of production would be welcomed in the Eagles’ defensive backfield.
