10. . Offensive Tackle. Georgia. Andrew Thomas. 20. player

After giving up a whopping 62 sacks and also being ranked dead last in pass protection last year, per Football Outsiders, the Houston Texans had to make multiple efforts to do something about their offensive line during the offseason.

Houston used two of its first three picks on offensive linemen in the 2019 NFL Draft, grabbing Alabama State’s Tytus Howard and Northern Illinois’ Max Scharping in Rounds 1 and 2, respectively.

That said, one offseason likely isn’t going to solve all the woes up front, and Houston would be smart to make a few more moves here.

Georgia offensive lineman Andrew Thomas stems from a run-heavy offense, yet he’s been able to hold his own in pass protection, too. That should help cut down on the woeful number of sacks quarterback Deshaun Watson will have to take in future seasons.
