KENTAVIUS STREET. I. . Defensive Tackle. NC State

Based on pick value alone, combined with the 49ers’ recent history of grabbing injured players in the draft, the Round 4 selection of former NC State defensive tackle Kentavius Street wouldn’t receive a good grade at all.

Street tore his ACL during his pro day, essentially meaning he’d be redshirted his rookie season by whichever team selected him.

The 2018 Niners needed some immediate-impact players, too, so the Street selection seemed a bit puzzling, to say the least.

That said, Street does have some amazing strength. He recently posted a video of himself in the rehab process, and there’s a good chance he winds up being a versatile backup player amid a defensive line already boasting a lot of depth.

For now, however, Street’s grade remains incomplete.
