The Baltimore Ravens went through a pretty turbulent offseason, chiefly losing top-tier defenders C.J. Mosley and Terrell Suggs to free agency. Those losses were alleviated to a point, especially after landing perennial All-Pro safety Earl Thomas, and that prevents a major fall in NFL power rankings. But we’ll still have to see whether or not Baltimore’s defense is going to be on par with what it’s enjoyed the past few seasons.

Louisiana Tech’s Jaylon Ferguson could be an under-the-radar pickup here, especially for those who love the stats above the film.

Ferguson is a boom-or-bust product, however, so the Ravens will have to hope the former takes shape.

Yet the key to this NFL Draft class for Baltimore was grabbing Oklahoma wideout Marquise Brown, who is one of the more electrifying pass catchers from the draft. If he stays healthy, pairing him with second-year quarterback Lamar Jackson should be awfully fun to watch.

As it stands, though, the Ravens are probably going to be the third team in what is looking to be a highly competitive AFC North.
