It’s slightly difficult to gauge this group in NFL power rankings, although there’s a lot to like going into the season.

The Buffalo Bills’ offensive line is going to look vastly different than the unit which forced then-rookie quarterback Josh Allen to scramble for his proverbial football life for most of 2018.

After making some notable moves in free agency, bringing aboard the mobile Cody Ford out of Oklahoma should help matters a lot, also opening up lanes for an aging tandem of running backs, LeSean McCoy and Frank Gore, along with Florida Atlantic rookie Devin Singletary.

We’ll see if wide receiver John Brown, who was picked up in free agency, helps out with the passing game, as that’s still a question mark for this season. But if Buffalo is content being a run-first team this year, head coach Sean McDermott and Co. could have done much worse.

McDermott’s squad is built on defense, though, and the Bills managed to land one of the NFL Draft’s top defensive talents in Houston’s Ed Oliver.

Before Oliver’s 2018 injury, it wasn’t hard to see him pegged as a top-two prospect. He should be a difference maker right away.

Don’t sleep on Florida linebacker Vosean Joseph, either.
