The Seattle Seahawks would be wise to add both an outside pass-rusher to pair with EDGE Frank Clark, as well as an interior run-stopping presence along the defensive line. Cornerback and offensive line help should also be on Seattle’s to-do list this offseason.

That said, there’s a serious problem with the Seahawks’ passing attack, and it comes in the form of wide receiver Doug Baldwin’s sports hernia surgery, which could keep him out the initial stages of 2019.

Another pass catcher, regardless of Baldwin’s availability, should still be on Seattle’s radar. And one name to watch is Oklahoma wideout Marquise Brown — one of the more electrifying receivers in this year’s NFL Draft.

Don’t understand the fit? Check out what Rob Stanton of Seahawks Draft Blog had to say about the fit:

"If the Seahawks add another receiver it could easily be another smaller, extremely dynamic target. At the end of the day, the Seahawks want to run the ball but they also want explosive plays in the passing game. Downfield shots — major yardage. Receivers like Marquise Brown provide that."

Adding Brown would be something of a luxury pick. But with this year’s draft so deep on defense, finding a solution to Baldwin’s injury suddenly takes a bit more precedence.
