The Washington Redskins have a slew of needs this offseason. And despite having nine picks in this year’s NFL Draft, there’s a good chance they’ll want to cash in on a quarterback early. After all, recently acquired veteran Case Keenum likely isn’t going to be a long-term solution, and Alex Smith isn’t going to play in 2019 after suffering a gruesome leg injury late last year.

There’s far less depth along the offense line than the Redskins’ current needs, which entices the Minnesota Vikings to offer up a trade package to move up from No. 18 overall. This would help alleviate concerns the Giants, who own the Cleveland Browns’ No. 17 overall pick, or the Carolina Panthers from grabbing the next best offensive lineman in this year’s NFL Draft, Jonah Williams.

The Vikings need a lot of O-line help, especially after left tackle Riley Reiff was about the only positive presence here. Adding interior guard Josh Kline helps, too, yet there’s a hole at right tackle.

Williams can play at that right tackle spot, or bump inside to guard until he’s ready for bookend duties.

Look for the Vikings to address some of their defensive needs later in the draft.
