54. . Cornerback. Washington. Byron Murphy. 25. player

The Philadelphia Eagles showed more than a few pass-coverage issues over the course of 2018, and finding some impact players at cornerback would be smart.

Washington’s Byron Murphy is one of those players to watch. At 5-foot-11 and 182 pounds, he might be best suited for nickel duties at the pro level. But he has more than enough experience on the outside, and his four interceptions from last season suggests he’s developed into something of a ballhawk, too.

The Eagles eventually need to find an offensive tackle to replace the veteran, Jason Peters, on the left side. But that’s something Philly will want to address in later rounds.
