2019 NFL Draft: Full two-round mock for all 32 teams, Super Bowl edition
By Peter Panacy
Ah, how nice it is to see the Cleveland Browns not selecting in the top three of the NFL Draft for a change.
That said, the Browns still have a number of needs to turn this team into a legitimate playoff contender. The good news is they have the most important piece, quarterback Baker Mayfield, in place. That’ll help. And while it might be smart to add some protection up front, as well as additional skill weapons, the Browns would be just as wise to shore up the other side of the ball.
Cleveland’s pass rush is on the ascent, although some may feel a complement to EDGE Myles Garrett would be nice.
But perhaps a smarter move would be to reinforce the secondary. There are bigger holes there, especially at the boundary.
At 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, Clemson cornerback Trayvon Mullen is a player to watch here. He had a strong performance against Alabama in the college football championship. Behind Greedy Williams, he’s arguably the best outside corner in this year’s class.
