No. 5: The 49ers luck must eventually change

From running back Jerick McKinnon and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo suffering season-ending ACL tears, to repeated injuries among several players, to wide receiver Marquise Goodwin and his personal tragedies, it just seems the 49ers could not catch themselves a break from the on-field injuries to the more serious tragedies off the field.

All good teams share an element of luck, and more often that not, it just never happened for San Francisco.

For a new season, the team will surely enjoy better luck across the board, using this season as inspiration for them to improve.

Seasons like these bring a team together, and set teams up for success in the future.
