4. Blace Brown, Cornerback, Troy

The San Francisco 49ers could always use more help in the secondary, and cornerback Blace Brown had an impressive week which potentially thrust him into mid-round candidacy.

Brown ticks all the boxes of a cornerback that Richard Sherman could mold in his own image.

Brown is a physical corner who would be a coverage cornerback at the professional level.

Although he doesn’t have the greatest size, Brown plays very hands-on and has the speed to match up with receivers if he needs to race with them.

Brown had his way with the wide receivers at the East-West Shrine Game, and he should be considered a potential mid-round addition to the Niners’ secondary as a result.
