2019 NFL Draft: Complete two-round mock for every team, New Year’s Day version
By Peter Panacy
Well, the Raiders’ trade of wide receiver Amari Cooper to the Dallas Cowboys sure worked out for both parties. It netted Oakland another Round 1 NFL Draft pick, while the Cowboys used Cooper’s abilities to ride into the postseason as the NFC East champions.
The Raiders already grabbed inside linebacker Devin White. Now it’s time to find some strength up front along the defensive line.
Auburn defensive tackle Derrick Brown would be an excellent anchor piece along the interior. He can adequately play both the 1- and 3-technique positions, with the latter being his preferred spot in both passing and rushing situations.
The best part is the Raiders get to pick again two selections later, where they’ll hope to maximize even more value as Round 1 closes out.
