Ole Miss. D.K. Metcalf. 17. player. 53. . Wide Receiver

It’s actually refreshing not having to see the Cleveland Browns picking in the top three for a change. And while we’ll have to see whether or not the Browns elect to stick with interim head coach Gregg Williams on a permanent basis — the Browns have plenty of other options — there’s no doubting this team has taken a complete 180-degree turn from the days of Hue Jackson calling the shots.

Cleveland’s eventual Round 1 decision could hinge on whoever takes over the job. And there are a multitude of directions the team could take with its first pick. An offensive lineman would be helpful, particularly at tackle. Depth along the defensive line would help, too.

That all said, finding additional weapons for outstanding quarterback Baker Mayfield should be atop the priority list. Wide receiver Jarvis Landry was a bonus, but getting a complementary playmaker would help a lot.

Ole Miss wide receiver D.K. Metcalf is that kind of a player, especially when you factor in his 6-foot-4, 225-pound frame.
